WebmasterBrain.com has been running an experiment to determine which of the top search engines are the most relevant. There are likely a few unscientific aspects to the experiment that affect the fairness of the test, but as an informal examination, the results are worth looking at.

In a previous post, I wrote about the results of a survey that indicated Google is used by more Internet users than any other search engine. This post follows up on that assessment with WebmasterBrain.com's results that indicate that Google is also considered to be the most accurate of search engines. In fact, 50% of the participants in the experiment think that Google does a better job than MSN and Yahoo at presenting the most relevant matches for a given search.

You can take part in the experiment or look at the latest results.
